From safe, connected mobility routes to parks and recreation, I'm working to make North Van a place where young families can thrive.
Lynn Valley Parents came to me with a problem – there was nowhere for toddlers to play at Kirkstone Park. This spring, we celebrated a new play structure.
Volunteering at CapU's annual student welcome breakfast. We need more student housing to support the University's future, while helping free up affordable rental housing in the community.

I took up e-biking at 65. It's fun, healthy, and can be faster than a car to get around locally. Plus I don't have to pay for parking! While not everyone can ride, scooter or walk, safe multi-use paths provide more transportation choices.
The Community Hub is essential social infrastructure that helps keep families together and communities strong.

Wastewater Treatment Plant
In March 2024, I sounded the alarm about the massive cost overruns on the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant. I led the charge for a Public Inquiry, deferred utility bills for NS taxpayers, an independent auditor, and greater transparency and accountability at Metro Vancouver through countless media interviews.

Transportation
Congestion from Highway 1 and the Ironworkers Bridge isn't just frustrating—it clogs local streets, hurts businesses, and reduces our quality of life. We need a new bridge with SkyTrain, immediate improvements to east-west connections and significant investment in infrastructure. Our advocacy has already delivered more transit service, and safer, connected routes for people walking, riding, and taking scooters – but much more needs to be done.
Housing
Advocating to the Province has helped bring new affordable housing for seniors, low income residents, women fleeing violence and people experiencing homelessness in our community. I support rental and non-market projects for students, first responders, care givers, teachers and other workers. We're also modernizing outdated bylaws so families can build homes for multi-generational living.
